The Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Short-Term Program for U.S. Teachers (Fulbright DAST) provides an opportunity for outstanding K–12 teachers from the United States to take part in a two- to six-week professional development experience overseas during summer 2019.

Fulbright DAST Program Activities
Two- to six-week professional development experience abroad: Outstanding elementary, middle, and high school teachers (eligibility varies by site) from the United States have the opportunity to take part in a two- to six-week professional development experience abroad.
Collaborative Projects: Teachers will have the opportunity to share their educational expertise on this program by serving in their role consulting with and providing support for schools, nonprofit organizations, teacher training institutions, and other educational organizations abroad.
The Fulbright DAST Program for U.S. Teachers is a program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA),with funding provided by the U.S. Government and administered by IREX.
