"Push-in" Model

    Dear ESOL friends,

    Like you, I am an ESL educator in Northwest Georgia and am writing to ask for your assistance as part of my dissertation research. As a GATESOL member, I know you care about this culturally and linguistically diverse population and hope that you are willing to contribute your expertise to the field. 

    You can enrich the field of ESL and receive a free RedBox (tm) dvd rental, too! I am asking for assistance from key stakeholders, like you, to assess the background and perceptions of teachers who teach English to Speakers of Other Languages, General Education classroom teachers, school administrators/leaders, and Title III district coordinators regarding the "push in model" and inclusive practices for English Learners in Georgia's elementary schools. 

    At this time, I have collected 65 completed surveys. The survey window will remain open until March 27, 2015, so I feel confident that we will reach our goal of 150 surveys by then. To find out more information, please visit the links below:
